Kitesurfing

1. I want to book lessons, do I need to book rental equipment as well?

All our courses include the equipment for the course. If you finish with the course you can rent equipment afterwards for a daily rate at 70€.

2. How many hours of lessons do I need?

As a beginner, we recommend the 10h lesson package. If you already had lessons, you can book the 6h intermediate course. It is very individual, how many hours you may need, but we can always add on lessons later if needed or you can start renting, if you are at the level to.

3. When is the best time to kitsurf in Egypt?

The red sea in Egypt gets consistent wind from May to October. September is the windiest month with strong wind but also the busiest month with many other kitesafari boats out. May and June are less busy at the kitesurfing spots, but you might have a less windy day during the week.

4. Do I need an insurance?

Safety is our top priority, but even with the best precautions, accidents can happen. That's why we strongly recommend securing kitesurfing-specific insurance to protect yourself while enjoying the water. While many kitesurfers are covered by general health insurance that includes international medical expenses, it’s essential to have specialized coverage for kitesurfing activities. VDWS, a leading German kitesurfing organization, offers a dedicated insurance plan designed specifically for kitesurfing-related incidents. This insurance provides peace of mind, whether you're just starting out or an experienced kitesurfer. For just 39€ per year, this affordable coverage ensures you’re protected while you’re out on the water.
